Madden Room
This lovely, elegantly furnished
room, takes its
name from the original owners of the orchard mansion. The showpiece of
the room is a walnut and metal, hand-tooled King four-poster bed. The
bedroom, and the private bathroom, with its antique brass tub, offer
breathtaking and commanding views of the front pasture and the entire
Rogue Valley, with the peaks of Mt. McLaughlin and Roxy Ann in the
distance. The masculine décor of the room makes it elegantly

from Mary McCaskey, who lived as mistress of the estate for 32 years,
and from the gold color palette in the original fireplace tiles in the
room. The sumptuous Queen bed, charming bathroom, and period antique
furnishings make this room a guest favorite. Views from The Marigold

Bora da
Bora da was once a loving name used by the
McCaskey family for this historic estate, loosely translated it is a
Welch saying that means “beautiful morning.” In this suite, two large
windows overlook the great pond and the majestic ancient willows
surrounding it. The view, combined with the toile décor in this room,
offers plenty of ambience. The black and white theme of the suite is
carried throughout in dark black cherry furnishings and twin
upholstered chairs at the foot of the Queen ball-post bed. The
bathroom in the Bora da Suite is the largest in the mansion,
offering both an individual shower and a rare antique brass and enamel
tub, perfect for that relaxing bath after a day of cycling, hiking or
touring the Rogue Valley.
